Industry 4.0 in the Czech Republic
Thanks to our 4 faculties (FS UJEP, FSES UJEP, FE UJEP and FME UJEP), we became partners with an academic-industrial platform connecting innovation leaders, universities, companies and unions, all with the common goal of improving the Industry 4.0 in the Czech Republic.
The National Centre of Industry 4.0 plays an active role in building up the ecosystem for Industry 4.0 in the Czech Republic, which is based on connected testbeds – experimental factories of the future. It inspires, connects and creates opportunities. Together with partners, Industry 4.0 offers consultation, analysis and solutions in digitization, with an accent on small to medium-sized companies. It also holds conferences, training and Open Days.
Centre has more than 50 partners. It was founded in the year 2017 by the professor Vladimíř Mařík together with other Industry 4.0 pioneers. The Centre is a part of the Czech Institute of Mathematics, robotics and cybernetic at ČVUT in Prague. You can find more information at www.ncp40.cz.
We will hopefully bring you some specific information about cooperation and plans for technology transfer from a university sphere to praxis hand in hand with the ceremonial opening of the new FS UJEP and FE UJEP building sometime in September.
