The joint German-Austrian-Czech cultural area provides a framework for the contributions, giving space both to the issues of “classical” German studies abroad and to promising innovative research interests, and building on the dialogue between younger and older generations. In addition to scholarly contributions, reviews of important German studies publications as well as relevant conference and project reports are published.

An electronic reviewed journal Central European Journal of Politics seeks to be a platform for developing theoretically and methodologically original scientific discussions articulating a conceptual and comparative perspective in political science, employing both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Territorially, the attempts aim to primarily cover an area of Central and Eastern Europe; however, any contributions addressing the countries not incorporated into this area are also welcome, provided they bring new findings that may innovate research topics applicable in the future in a research of the area of Central and Eastern Europe.


Monumentorum Custos: časopis pro památky severozápadních Čech

Monumentorum Custos is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal focused on the field of monument conservation. It is a regional journal that focuses on the wider area of Northwest Bohemia, which includes the territory of three self-governing regions, namely the Ústí nad Labem, Karlovy Vary and Liberec regions. The journal has a fixed structure of contributions, with the main peer-reviewed part dedicated to studies and materials, while the secondary non-peer-reviewed part is devoted to monument restoration, exhibitions, reviews and information about current events in the field of monument care.

The journal focuses on landscape and territorial research in its broadest meaning. It addresses the territorial organization of society and environment from the perspective of various hierarchic levels, functional and developmental dimensions, and their mutual relations. The aim of the journal is to establish a common platform for the publication of research on ecological and environmental issues, social dimension of sustainability, economic geography and regional development, cross-border cooperation and political strategies influencing the landscape, spatial planning, regional development, and policies at different scales. The interdisciplinarity is strongly encouraged. In all its content the journal accentuates the practical implications of the research for public administration, planning, and regional development.

As a new music journal, it distinguishes itself from several existing titles. The journal does not focus only on issues of a narrowly regional nature, but is open to a broad area of music theory, history and performance criticism, and especially current topics and issues of music pedagogy at all levels of schools, which is helped by the close cooperation of the editors and referees with the Society for Music Education of the Czech Republic. Aura musica strives to be a journal that will also meet the needs of teachers in practical terms. Therefore, an important part of each issue will be music supplements of all kinds, i.e. new compositions, choral arrangements, transcriptions and arrangements of well-used and popular repertoire.

Usta ad Albim Bohemica

The journal Usta ad Albim BOHEMICA develops a fruitful and informative discussion on the current problems of contemporary Bohemian studies, Slavonic studies and pedagogy. The journal provides the professional public with stimulating outputs oriented especially towards pedagogical practice or the theory of education in Bohemia. At least two issues of the journal are published each year.


Health & Caring

Health & Caring is a peer-reviewed, scholarly, open access journal that publishes papers in areas relevant to non-medical health professions, particularly in the areas of clinical practice, education and management. The journal creates a space for expanding the potential of the non-medical health professions and for collaboration between these professions and with other related disciplines (e.g. medicine, sociology, bioethics, etc.). The journal accepts original, unpublished research papers that are characterized by timeliness and relevance of content.
