University programmes
UJEP establishes its internal support mechanisms for mobility programmes aligning with mid-term and long-term its strategic goals. Between the 2021-2025, these mechanisms were supported from the Programme to support strategic management at UJEP in accordance with the Programme to Support Strategic Management at Higher Education Institutions, the UJEP Strategic Plan 2021+ and the Implementation Plan for the UJEP Strategic Plan for 2025. The aim of the calls is to support activities leading to the internationalisation of study programmes and to strengthen the quality of the international dimension at all levels of study programmes implemented at UJEP. The calls are administered by the Division of External Relations and support the following objectives:
I.1 Development of global competences of students and higher education staff,
I.2 Internationalisation of higher education study programmes.
Other short-term programmes
Similar programmes to BIP include COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning), SAP (Short Advanced Programmes) and MOOC (Massive Open Online Course). However, their preparation and participation are not funded by Erasmus+. The preparation and implementation are financed according to the priorities defined each year and the available funds of the UJEP. Participation in the programmes (with the UJEP as the sending organisation) is governed by the same financial rules as for participation in BIP (here).
European programmes
CEEPUS
CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is an exchange programme for regional cooperation between universities in Central and South-Eastern Europe.
The aim of the programme is to connect universities in member countries through cooperation projects known as networks. The programme enables the mobility of students and academic staff and contributes to the integration of the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area.
The CEEPUS programme agreement has been signed by Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Kosovo, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Austria, Romania, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia.
Organisation of mobilities
Foreign stays can take place at any eligible higher education institution abroad. Applications for scholarships can be submitted either within an existing network (if the selected school is a partner) or as a CEEPUS freemover to any higher education institution.
